It was super enjoyable, simple and gratifying working with Duval Associates, and specifically Jess- she went above and beyond what I expected, providing both a strong professional experience but also consistently making me feel warm and supported in the most personable of manners. With Jess' help, I got an amazing job I truly wanted, and she never let me walk into an interview without feeling less than 100%! I've never experienced another professional who checks in with you from the from the first point of contact to the last as attentively as Jess, would recommend Duval time and time again! WOW! what can I say - the FIRST recruiter I have ever come into contact with that has actually gave real, sound, credible, logical, helpful advise. Really and truly. I spoke with Iain - we were on the phone for about 45 minutes. I instantly bought into Iain and trusted him within the first 10 seconds of the call. Despite Iain not having a role immediately available for me based on what I was looking for, he took time to guide me and point me in the right direction. He has left me feeling super motivated and confident in my job search. He provided me with invaluable feedback on my CV, and general insight into the job market. He puts the likes of @michaelpage to shame. I highly recommend Iain to anyone. Absolute legend - thank you again Iain!!!!

Jess was instrumental in helping me land my new job role. Kind, friendly, and thoroughly professional, it was a pleasure working with her. She did a great job guiding me through the interview stages and gave me practical advice on how to handle the recruitment process. Jess at Duval really set herself apart from other recruiters I've dealt with over the last few months. She's personable, friendly yet highly professional and stayed with me through the entire process, which led to a new role and starting a new career after my first interview with her help. Offering advice and direction when needed along with providing additional information to help with the interview process. My experience of the recruitment process with Duval was absolutely fantastic. Jess was incredibly helpful throughout every stage of the process, giving tons of superb advice and tips before each interview and seemed really invested in helping me to succeed, always being available and keeping me up to date at every step. I definitely feel this played a part in helping me secure the role and I would absolutely recommend Duval.

Duval is so much better than a conventional agency. The people there have become trusted advisors. I run an engineering firm. The first thing Iain at Duval said to me was, “I know nothing about engineering.” But even while I was still laughing at what he’d said, Iain started to explain the way Duval works. And when I say explain, I mean I had a very clear idea about the agency within 10 minutes. The enthusiasm, the intelligence and the strategic thinking (everyone at Duval considers the bigger picture) has never waned in the five years we’ve worked together. Consequently, I use Duval exclusively and highly recommend it to other businesses. What you’ll get is a straight-talking, effective recruitment partner where, thankfully, and unlike conventional agencies, people still have a sense of humour.
