Duval is so much better than a conventional agency. The people there have become trusted advisors. I run an engineering firm. The first thing Iain at Duval said to me was, “I know nothing about engineering.” But even while I was still laughing at what he’d said, Iain started to explain the way Duval works. And when I say explain, I mean I had a very clear idea about the agency within 10 minutes. The enthusiasm, the intelligence and the strategic thinking (everyone at Duval considers the bigger picture) has never waned in the five years we’ve worked together. Consequently, I use Duval exclusively and highly recommend it to other businesses. What you’ll get is a straight-talking, effective recruitment partner where, thankfully, and unlike conventional agencies, people still have a sense of humour.

Jess was fantastic through helping me secure a new role. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she was always there to support when needed. From one recruiter to another, you can tell Jess isn’t pushy, she squashes the negative stigma that recruiters can sometimes be painted with. She’s friendly and enthusiastic, professional and obviously very passionate about her job.
